My job is to help people love and enjoy life, which seems a little romantic, but it depends on only one thing, which is focusing on maintaining the health and agility of the body and mind.

But health is a relative concept, in my opinion, especially when left to people's interpretation. Some are very sensitive and rush to consult a doctor when they get a slight tingling or abnormal sensations. While others - including my parents - will continue their lives and ignore all the symptoms that affect them until something happens that can not be ignored - such as the fall of one of their teeth before they even consider consulting a doctor.

I have learned not to judge people, and my life experience and instinct taught me not to preach about anyone's health habits except when they ask for them. It is like riding your horse; you can take it toward the river, but you will not be able to force it to drink water.

Some time ago, I found a more eloquent scientific explanation than just my gut feeling. It was actually on the last page of one of the psychology books I was reading, and I had an incredible sense of relief and excitement at the same time when I found it. It always helps to know that psychologists have discovered what you've been feeling instinctively and finding it difficult to express.

Commitment to change is linked to belief in oneself

In psychology, the commitment to change often occurs when a person believes in their ability to make a difference in their or others' lives. Many people believe that the deadline is inevitable and will come at exactly the right time, so they follow the path of belief in fate and destiny about their health, prompting them to neglect it and surrender to the diseases that affect them. However, when we can control something, we are likely to do something about it when the need arises.

In other words, we change our habits to maintain and improve our health only when we truly believe in our ability to make a change or when we feel an urgent need to make those changes. However, it is all up to our realization and perceptions.

1. Perception of disease susceptibility

Each person's self-assessment is about how seriously they have a disease.

2. Perception of disease severity

It is an individual's self-assessment of the seriousness of the condition that has affected them and the obstacles and consequences likely to result from it.

3. Visualization of potential obstacles

That is, an individual's self-assessment of the effects that may facilitate or hinder their adoption of encouraged health behavior.

4. Perception of potential benefits

That is, a person's self-assessment of the positive results they may get when they follow that healthy behavior.

The reason I'm telling you all this is that I want you to ask yourself a question: I want you to consider whether you are the kind of person who doesn't even try to lead a healthy lifestyle because you believe it won't matter, or whether you are the kind of person who doesn't give yourself a slight chance to feel great because of your lack of confidence and ability, and how poor your health must be for it to start being a priority in your life, and take the necessary steps to take care of it.

If you are one of these people, you should know that most people don't realize how wonderful they can feel if they take straightforward steps to care for their physical and mental health.

In conclusion

Most people waste their lives away at a low energy level, believing this is the best they can hope for. As these people start to make fundamental changes to their health habits, if they ever did, to stay healthy, they are astounded by how incredible the sensations can be when they adhere to balanced health habits.
